What is the definition of perfect?
Is it when something can’t get any better?
When everything is the way it’s supposed to be?
Or… does it not even exist?
Look around you
Nothing is perfect
So why do you keep searching for ‘the perfect person’ that makes no mistakes
When they don’t even exist
I said I was sorry
I said I would never do it again
It was one thing that I wish with all my might I could take back
But I can’t
And I’m sorry
No one’s perfect
Not me
Not you
No one
So please, can you see that?
Please… can we try again?
Just a little somethin' I came up with it.
I've learned in my short life time so far that people tend to look for 'the perfect person' A LOT more than they should and tend to forget that no one is perfect. I haven't had to deal with it much myself yet, but I have seen some of my friends and family go through it and it doesn't look very fun.
So this little poem came up.
